เนื่องจากสภาวะเร่งรีบในปัจจุบัน ทุกคนต่างทำงานแข่งกับเวลา จนทำให้บางคนต้องทำงานหามรุ่งหามค่ำ ดังนั้น ความกังวลเกี่ยวกับหน้าที่การงานจึงเป็นสาเหตุสำคัญที่ทำให้คุณนอนไม่หลับ ทำให้ร่างกายพักผ่อนได้ไม่เต็มที่จนกลายเป็นเรื่องปกติในคุณพ่อคุณแม่แล้ว และแน่นอนว่าผลเสียต่อสุขภาพก็ย่อมตามมาเป็นขบวน เช่น ความสามารถในการจำลดลง ความดันโลหิตสูง ปวดหัว ปวดท้อง ปวดหลัง หงุดหงิด ขาดสมาธิ และที่สำคัญทำให้คุณอ้วนขึ้น เพราะเมื่อร่างกายอ่อนเพลีย คุณจะกินอาหารมากขึ้น
บางคนอาจค้านว่า "แล้วฉันจะทำยังไงดีล่ะ งานก็ยุ่ง เหนื่อยก็เหนื่อย แต่พอเข้านอนทีไรกลับนอนไม่หลับสักที" อันที่จริงปัญหาเหล่านี้จัดการได้เพียงแค่คุณจัดตารางเวลาให้เหมาะสมด้วย 5 วิธีง่ายๆ ดังนี้
จดตารางเวลาและสิ่งที่ต้องทำ ไม่ว่าเรื่องนั้นจะเป็นธุระหรือการนัดต่างๆ เพราะเมื่อคุณได้เขียนหรือจดแล้วคุณจะเลิกกังวลและว้าวุ่นใจ ทำให้คุณหลับอย่างสบาย ไม่ต้องเสียเวลาพะวักพะวนพลิกตัวไปมาบนที่นอน หัดแบ่งเบางานให้คนอื่นช่วยทำบ้าง โดยเฉพาะคุณแม่บ้านควรแบ่งงานบ้านต่างๆ ให้สามีหรือลูกๆ ทำบ้างอย่าเหมาทำเองเสียหมด เพราะถึงแม้พวกเขาจะทำสะอาดได้ดีไม่เท่าคุณ ก็คิดซะว่าเป็นการฝึกให้พวกเขามีหน้าที่รับผิดชอบในบ้านบ้าง พึ่งพอบริการหักบัญชีธนาคารอัตโนมัติ หรือเคาน์เตอร์เซอร์วิส เพื่อจ่ายค่าสาธารณูปโภคต่างๆ คุณจะได้ไม่ต้องวิ่งวนเสียเวลาจ่ายสตางค์หลายครั้งต่อเดือน การเล่นคอมพิวเตอร์ หรือ Chat ทำให้คุณเสียเวลานั่งอยู่หน้าจอค่อนวันค่อนคืนโดยไม่รู้ตัว โดยเฉพาะคนที่ช่อบเล่นตอนดึกๆ ซึ่งเป็นสามเหตุหลักในคุณเสียเวลานานไปโดยใช่เหตุ อดใจงดดูละครหรือรายการโปรดตอนดึกๆ เพราะแทนที่คุณจะเข้านอนหัวค่ำ กลับทำให้คุณต้องถ่างตารอดูรายการโปรดจนจบ เมื่อถึงเวลานอนคุณก็นอนไม่หลับเสียแล้ว ดังนั้นห้ามใจตัวเองสักนิดด้วยการอดใจชมรายการตามเวลาที่ถ่ายทอด และหันมาตั้งวีดีโออัดรายการโปรดไว้ดูภายหลังแทน สุขภาพร่างกายของคุณสำคัญกว่าสิ่งอื่น หากคุณหันมาดูแลเอาใจใส่สักนิด สิ่งดีๆ ก็จะตามมาค่ะ

บรรดาผู้ที่ติดตามข่าวคราวทางสุขภาพคงเคยได้ยินประโยคที่ว่า An apple a day keeps the doctor away ซึ่งเปรียบสรรพคุณของแอปเปิลว่า การรับประทานแอปเปิลเพียงวันละผลสามารถทำให้ห่างไกลจากหมอหรือไม่ต้องไปหาหมอ ทั้งนี้เนื่องมาจากมีงานวิจัยหลายชิ้นกล่าวถึงประโยชน์มากมายของแอปเปิล ทั้งบำรุงหัวใจ ลดโคเลสเตอรอล ลดความดัน ควบคุมปริมาณน้ำตาลในเลือด ลดความอยากอาหารและต้านอนุมูลอิสระ ซึ่งอาจช่วยลดการถูกโรคร้ายทั้งหลายคุกคาม และล่าสุดพบว่าการดื่มน้ำแอปเปิลยังอาจช่วยเสริมความจำและป้องกันภาวะสมองเสื่อม หรือโรคอัลไซเมอร์ในผู้สูงอายุได้

โดยงานวิจัยนี้ได้ศึกษาในหนูทดลองปกติวัยผู้ใหญ่ วัยชรา และหนูทดลองสายพันธุ์พิเศษที่มีการตัดต่อพันธุกรรมจนสามารถเกิดอาการของโรคอัลไซเมอร์แบบเดียวกับที่เกิดในคน โดยแบ่งให้รับประทานอาหารปกติ อาหารที่ขาดสารอาหารจำเป็น หรืออาหารที่ขาดสารอาหารที่จำเป็นแต่รวมกับการดื่มน้ำแอปเปิลเข้มข้นแทนน้ำ เป็นเวลา 1 เดือน พบว่าหนูปกติ วัยชรา และหนูที่เป็นอัลไซเมอร์ ซึ่งรับประทานอาหารที่ขาดสารอาหารที่จำเป็นจะมีปริมาณของสารอะซีทิลโคลีนในเนื้อสมองลดลง แต่ปริมาณของสารนี้กลับเพิ่มสูงขึ้นในหนูที่ดื่มน้ำแอปเปิลเข้มข้นร่วมด้วย อีกทั้งเมื่อนำหนูเหล่านี้ไปทดสอบเกี่ยวกับการเรียนรู้และความจำ พบว่าหนูที่ดื่มน้ำแอปเปิลเข้มข้นจะมีพฤติกรรมการเรียนรู้และความจำที่ดีกว่าหนูที่ไม่ดื่มน้ำแอปเปิล จึงเป็นไปได้ว่าการดื่มน้ำแอปเปิลเข้มข้นอาจช่วยเสริมความจำ โดยมีผลการเพิ่มปริมาณของสารสื่อประสาทอะซีทิลโคลีน ที่ช่วยกระตุ้นความทรงจำ เพิ่มสมาธิและประสิทธิภาพการเรียนรู้ อีกทั้งช่วยชะลอความเสื่อมของสมองอันเนื่องมาจากอายุที่มากขึ้นและลดความเสี่ยงในการเกิดโรคอัลไซเมอร์ ซึ่งน้ำแอปเปิลเข้มข้นที่ให้หนูกินในแต่ละวัน สามารถเทียบได้กับการดื่มน้ำแอปเปิลเข้มข้นแก้วละ 8 ออนซ์ วันละ 2 แก้ว หรือเท่ากับการรับประทานแอปเปิลวันละ 2-3 ลูก

อย่าว่ายน้ำคนเดียว : แม้ว่าจะเป็นคนว่ายน้ำเก่งสักแค่ไหน ก็ควรหาเพื่อนไปช่วยดูแลกันด้วย

* สังเกตธงสัญญาลักษณ์ตามชายหาด : จะมีการปักธงเพื่อแสดงระดับความลึกของน้ำ ถ้าเห็นธงสีแดงสองอัน แปลว่าอันตรายมาก อย่าลงเล่นเด็ดขาด ถ้าธงแดงอันเดียว คืออันตราย ถ้าธงเหลือง หมายถึงให้ระวังแต่ก็ไม่ถึงกับห้ามเล่น แต่ถ้าธงเขียว เล่นได้ไม่อันตราย
กรณีเกิดอุบัติเหตุทางน้ำเช่นเรือล่ม : สิ่งที่ต้องทำคือ ตั้งสติให้ดี สละข้าวของหนัก ถอดรองเท้า แล้วพยายามว่ายน้ำอยู่ใกล้ ๆ เรือ หาวัตถุที่ลอยน้ำได้เกาะพยุงตัวไว้ เพื่อรอความช่วยเหลือ
หากเห็นน้ำทะเลลดอย่างรวดเร็ว : อย่ามัวตื่นตาตื่นใจ รีบขึ้นไปในที่สูงให้เร็วที่สุด เพราะคลื่นยักษ์อาจจะตามมา
รู้อย่างนี้แล้ว จะเล่นทะเลครั้งต่อไปก็ระมัดระวังกันด้วย เพื่อความปลอดภัย.

วันแรงงานแห่งชาติ

ในต่างประเทศมีวันแรงงานมาช้านานแล้ว หลายประเทศกำหนดวันที่ 1 พฤษภาคม หรือ "May Day" เป็นวันแรงงาน แต่ก็มีบางประเทศ เช่น สหรัฐอเมริกาและแคนาดา ถือวันอื่นเป็นวันแรงงาน แต่โบราณในยุโรปถือว่า วันเมย์เดย์ เป็นวันเริ่มต้นเข้าสู่ฤดูใหม่ในทางเกษตรกรรม จึงมีพิธีเฉลิมฉลองรื่นเริงในพิธีการนำเอาต้นไม้มาตกแต่งประดับให้สวยงาม และสมมติคนหรือตุ๊กตาให้เป็นเทพเจ้าแห่งเกษตรขึ้น เพื่อทำการบวงสรวงบนบานขอให้ปลูกพืชได้ผลดี ประชาชนอยู่เย็นเป็นสุข ทางภาคเหนือของยุโรปมีการจัดงานรอบกองไฟในวันนี้ด้วย ประเพณีนี้ยังสืบทอดปฏิบัติต่อมาในชนบทของเกาะอังกฤษจนกระทั่งทุกวันนี้
จากการที่มีวันเมย์เดย์เป็นวันหยุดพักผ่อนประจำปี ต่อมาประเทศอุตสาหกรรมหลายประเทศจึงถือเป็นวัรหยุดงานของคนทำงาน วันหยุดตามประเพณีของแรงงานทั่วไป วันฉลองและวันรื่นเริงของผู้ใช้แรงงาน ความหมายของวันเมย์เดย์จึงเปลี่ยนแปลงไปจากเดิม ครั้น พ.ศ. 2433 จึงมีการเรียกร้องในหลายประเทศในทางตะวันตก ให้ถือวันที่ 1 พฤษภาคม เป็นวันแรงงานสากล ในปี พ.ศ.2433 ประเทศไทยในยุโรปหลายประเทศได้เริ่มฉลองวันแรงงานในวันที่ 1 พฤษภาคม และดำเนินสืบมาจนถึงปัจจุบัน ในประเทศอังกฤษ มีการฉลองวันแรงงานเป็นครั้งแรก ในปี พ.ศ.2435 โดยถือเอาวันอาทิตย์แรกหลังวันที่ 1 พฤษภาคมเป็นวันแรงงานที่กรุงลอนดอน มักจะมีการชุมนุมกันที่ไฮด์ปาร์ค
วัตถุประสงค์ของวันแรงงานที่นานาประเทศกำหนดขึ้น ก็เพื่อเป็นวันเตือนใจให้ประชาชนตระหนักถึงผู้ใช้แรงงานที่ได้ทำประโยชน์แก่เศรษฐกิจของประเทศ ความสะดวกสะบายในการดำเนินชีวิตของประชาชนทุกวันนี้ ผู้ใช้แรงงานมีส่วนสร้างขึ้นทั้งสิ้น จึงได้ควรมีการระลึกถึงและตระหนักในความสำคัญของแรงงานพอสมควร วันแรงงานถือเป็นเรื่องของแรงงานโดยเฉพาะ การฉลองวันแรงงานทั่วๆ ไปจะไม่นิยมแสดงออกทางการเมือง
สำหรับในประเทศไทย เมื่อระหว่าง พ.ศ.2496-2499 มีการตื่นตัวในเรื่องการก่อตั้งองค์การลูกจ้าง ขณะนั้นกฏหมายแรงงานยังไม่มี จึงตั้งขึ้นในนามของสมาคมกรรมกรไทยและสมาคมเสรีแรงงานแห่งประเทศไทย กรรมการและผู้แทนของสมาคมเหล่านี้ มีโอกาสประชุมกิจกรรมด้านแรงงานในต่างประเทศ และได้ความรู้ว่าหลายประเทศถือเอาวันที่ 1 พฤษภาคมเป็น "วันแรงงาน" ต่อมาในวันที่ 20 เมษายน 2499 คณะกรรมการจัดงานที่ระลึกวันแรงงานได้จัดให้มีการประชุมขึ้น ที่ประชุมมีความเห็นว่าควรกำหนดควรกำหนดให้วันที่ 1 พฤษภาคม เป็นวันที่ระลึกแรงงานในประเทศไทย จึงได้มีหนังสือถึงนายกรัฐมนตรีขอให้ทางราชการรับรองวันที่ 1 พฤษภาคม เป็นวันที่ระลึกของแรงงาน ดังนั้น ในวันที่ 30 เมษายน 2499 ได้มีประกาศสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรีให้ถือเอาวันที่ 1 พฤษภาคม เป็นวันกรรมกรแห่งชาติ ซึ่งต่อมาเปลี่ยนชื่อเป็นวันแรงงานแห่งชาติ ต่อมาใน พ.ศ.2500 ได้มีพระราชบัญญัติแรงงาน พ.ศ.2499 บัญญัติให้ลูกจ้างมีสิทธิหยุดงานประจำปีในวันกรรมกรแห่งชาติ คือวันที่ 1 พฤษภาคม
พระราชบัญญัติแรงงาน พ.ศ.2499 มีอายุได้ 18 เดือน ก็ถูกยกเลิกไป จึงมีประกาศของคณะปฏิวัติ ฉบับที่ 19 เข้ามาแทนที่ โดยให้อำนาจกระทรวงมหาดไทยออกประกาศกระทรวงมหาดไทยกำหนดเรื่องการคุ้มครองแรงงาน และกำหนดวันกรรมกรเป็นวันหยุดตามประเพณีเช่นเดียวกัน แต่เนื่องจากสถานการณ์ในขณะนั้นผันแปรเป็นช่วงๆ ไป จึงมีคำชี้แจงจากกระทรวงออกมาแต่ละปีเตือนให้นายจ้างให้ลูกจ้างหยุดงานในวันที่ 1 พฤษภาคม แต่ขอร้องมิให้มีการเฉลิมฉลองทั้งนี้เพื่อความสงบเรียบร้อยของบ้านเมือง จนกระทั่ง พ.ศ.2517 ทางการเห็นว่าถึงเวลาแล้วที่จะเปิดให้มีการเฉลิมฉลองตามสมควร จึงมอบให้กรมแรงงาน กระทรวงมหาดไทย เริ่มจัดการฉลองวันแรงงานแห่งชาติขึ้นที่สวนลุมพินี ซึ่งมีการทำบุญตักบาตรตามประเพณีไทย มีนิทรรศการแสดงความรู้และกิจกรรมของแรงงาน มีการอภิปราย มีการละเล่นต่างๆ และนายกรัฐมนตรีกล่าวคำปราศรัยแก่พี่น้องชาวแรงงานทั่วราชอาณาจักร
การบริหารแรงงานแต่เดิมอยู่ในความรับผิดชอบของกระทรวงมหาดไทยแต่ต่อมารัฐบาลเล็งเห็นว่า ควรจะได้มีการยกระดับหน่วยงานบริหารด้านแรงงานให้มีงบประมาณและเจ้าหน้าที่อย่างเพียงพอ เพื่อการคุ้มครองดูแลผู้ใช้แรงงานที่มีอยู่ประมาณ 30 ล้านคน ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่มีรายได้ต่ำและด้อยโอกาสในสังคม ดังนั้นในวันที่ 25 กรกฎาคม 2536 จึงได้มีประกาศในพระราชกิจจานุเบกษา ให้จัดตั้งกระทรวงแรงงานและสวัสดิการสังคมขึ้น เพื่อให้การบริหารแรงงานได้มีความก้าวหน้าทัดเทียมนานาอารยประเทศ

เปลือกกล้วยมีเยื่อเมือกซึ่งสามารถนำมาใช้ประโยชน์ได้หลายอย่าง ดังนี้
- สามารถนำมาทาผิวให้ความชุ่มชื้น แก่ผิวได้ในหน้าหนาวผิวหนังจะแห้งแตก ใช้เปลือกด้านในนำมาทาถูผิวหนังจะชุ่มชื่น ตึงเรียบเนียน
- สามารถนำมาทาถู บริเวณแมลง สัตว์กัดต่อย ลดอาการ บวม แดง คัน ได้
- สามารถนำมาหมักผม ขจัดรังแค หนังศรีษะแห้งเป็นขุย ผมแห้งหยาบกระด้าง นำเปลือกมาขูดเอาเฉพาะเยื่อข้างในเปลือกมาผสมกับน้ำผึ้งให้เป็นเนื้อครีมเข้มข้นหมักเส้นผมไว้ประมาณ 30 นาที แล้วสระผมตามปกติ ก็จะทำให้หนังศรีษะปราศจากรังแค เส้นผมนุ่มสวย

แนวคิดที่ว่าลิปมัน หรือ ลิปกลอส ที่จะช่วยเพิ่มความชุ่มชื้นให้กับริมฝีปากของสาวๆ หรือแม้แต่หนุ่มเมโทรเซ็กชวลทั้งหลาย คงต้องตรึกตรองหรือระมัดระวังมากกว่าเดิมแล้ว
เพราะ ดร.คริสทีน บราวน์ ของศูนย์สุขภาพแห่งมหาวิทยาลัยเบเลอร์ในดัลลัส ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกาได้ออกมาเตือนว่า ก่อนที่จะใช้ลิปมันเพื่อปกป้องริมฝีปากของตัวเองนั้น ควรจะมีการทาครีมป้องกันแดดที่บริเวณนี้ก่อน
"ริมฝีปากถือว่าละเอียดอ่อนต่อแสงแดดมากกว่าผิวหนังเสียอีก ดังนั้น แทนที่ลิปกลอสของคุณจะช่วยปกป้องแสงแดด มันยิ่งจะดูดรังสีไวโอเลตเข้ามามากกว่าปกติ" ดร.บราวน์บอก และยืนยันว่าลิปกลอสไม่ใช่สิ่งที่จะปกป้องริมฝีปากจากแดดจ้า ดังนั้น ควรจะทาลิปกลอสเฉพาะตอนเช้า จากนั้นในตอนกลางวัน ควรจะหาครีมป้องกันแดดสำหรับริมฝีปากทารองพื้นเสียก่อนที่จะทาลิปกลอสทับอีกที
ทั้งนี้ คุณหมอได้ขอให้สังเกตริมฝีปากตัวเองด้วยว่า มีปัญหาสีซีดหรือมีรอยขาวเป็นด่าง ตลอดจนเป็นขุยรักษาไม่หายหรือไม่ หากพบอาการแบบนี้ก็ควรจะหาหมอเพื่อตรวจสอบให้แน่ใจด้วย.

"ไม่ควรอยู่ในที่โล่งแจ้ง รวมทั้งหลีกเลี่ยงการสวมใส่เครื่องประดับและใช้สื่อไฟฟ้าที่จะเป็นสาเหตุของการเกิดฟ้าผ่าได้”...เป็นคำเตือนของทางกรมอุตุนิยมวิทยา กับสภาวะอากาศระยะนี้ที่แปรปรวน พายุฤดูร้อน-พายุฝนฟ้าคะนอง...ใช่จะมีภัยแค่ลมพายุ “ภัยฟ้าผ่า” ก็มองข้ามมิได้...และนับวันจะเกิดบ่อย !! ปัจจุบันภัยฟ้าผ่าเป็นอีกหนึ่งภัยธรรมชาติที่เกิดขึ้นบ่อยมาก จากเดิมในปี 2548 มีรายงานว่าในแต่ละปีมีเด็กและผู้ใหญ่ทั่วโลก “เสียชีวิตเพราะถูกฟ้า ผ่า” มากกว่า 1,000 ราย เมื่อเร็ว ๆ นี้มีข้อมูลออกมาว่าฟ้าผ่าเกิดขึ้นทุกวัน ๆ ละกว่า 8 ล้านครั้งทั่วโลก มีคนบาดเจ็บและเสียชีวิตรวมแล้วกว่า 1,500-5,000 คนต่อปี ขณะที่ศูนย์วิจัยเพื่อสร้างเสริมความปลอดภัยและป้องกันการบาดเจ็บ ในเด็ก ภาควิชากุมารเวชศาสตร์ คณะแพทยศาสตร์ โรงพยาบาลรามาธิบดี มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ระบุว่ายุคนี้ เด็กไทยอายุน้อยกว่า 17 ปี เสียชีวิตจากการถูกฟ้าผ่าเฉลี่ยประมาณ 20 คนต่อปี ยังไม่รวมส่วนที่เป็นผู้ใหญ่ที่อยู่นอกการสำรวจ “ฟ้าผ่า” เป็นปรากฏการณ์ธรรมชาติที่ “เกิดจากความไม่สมดุลของอุณหภูมิในชั้นบรรยากาศโลก” ซึ่งมีทั้งฟ้าผ่าขึ้น และฟ้าผ่าลง โดยฟ้าผ่าลงที่มนุษย์คุ้นเคยมากกว่าและทำให้เกิดการบาดเจ็บ - เสียชีวิตอยู่เป็นประจำนั้น กระบวนการเริ่มจากก้อนเมฆมีความเข้มของสนามไฟฟ้าสูงถึงค่าวิกฤติ เกิดการแตกตัวของอนุภาคโมเลกุลในอากาศ ขยายตัวออกเป็นตัวนำวิ่งลงสู่พื้นโลก เกิด การถ่ายเทประจุลงสู่พื้นโลกเป็นลำฟ้าผ่า วิธีป้องกันอันตรายจากฟ้าผ่า เวลาที่เกิดพายุฝนฟ้าคะนอง ที่มีการแนะนำกันไว้ก็มีอาทิ... หลีกเลี่ยงการอยู่ในที่โล่งแจ้ง เช่น กลางสนามหญ้า สนามกีฬา ชายหาด ลานกว้าง ทุ่งนา ฯลฯ, หลีกเลี่ยงการอยู่ใต้-อยู่ใกล้ต้นไม้สูง เสาไฟฟ้า เสาสูง รั้ว กำแพง โดยเฉพาะที่มีโลหะเป็นส่วนประกอบ, หลีกเลี่ยงการมีสื่อไฟฟ้าติดตัว เช่น สร้อย แหวน กำไล นาฬิกา ฯลฯ ที่มีโลหะนำไฟฟ้า ควรถอดเก็บไว้ไกลตัวชั่วคราว, หลีกเลี่ยงการใช้โทรศัพท์มือถือ-การใช้โทรศัพท์สาธารณะที่อยู่กลางแจ้ง เพราะดึงดูดสายฟ้าได้ ผู้ที่ถูกฟ้าผ่าส่วนใหญ่จะเสียชีวิตในที่เกิดเหตุทันที หรือถ้าดวงแข็งแบบสุด ๆ แล้วยังไงก็จะได้รับบาดเจ็บรุนแรง เพราะร่างกายจะถูกกระแสไฟฟ้ามากกว่า 200,000 แอมแปร์ช็อต จึงไม่ควรมองข้ามคำแนะนำ เมื่อเกิดฝนกระหน่ำฟ้าคะนอง หากเป็นไปได้ควรหลบเข้าบ้าน อาคารต่าง ๆ ที่มีการติดสายล่อฟ้า ส่วนสิ่งปลูกสร้างเล็ก ๆ กลางไร่นาที่โล่งแจ้งนั้น ที่ผ่านมามีข่าวฟ้าผ่าจนคนตายเป็นประจำ...โปรดระวัง !! อย่างไรก็ตาม แม้จะอยู่ในบ้านก็ยังมีข้อควรระวัง เช่น ไม่ควรไปเกาะหรืออยู่ใกล้หน้าต่าง โดยเฉพาะถ้ามีส่วนประกอบเป็นโลหะ, ไม่ควรเปิดหรือใช้เครื่องใช้ไฟฟ้าต่าง ๆ โดยไม่จำเป็น !! เพราะหากฟ้าผ่าใส่บ้านกระแสไฟฟ้าอาจไหลผ่านเครื่องไฟฟ้ามาทำอันตรายได้ ซึ่งกรณีนี้ก็รวมถึงเครื่องทำน้ำอุ่น หรือมือถือที่เสียบชาร์จแบตเตอรี่อยู่ กรณีอยู่ในรถที่กำลังวิ่งหรือจอดขณะฝนฟ้าคะนอง ควรปิดกระจกรถทุกบาน และหากเกิดแจ๊กพอตฟ้าผ่าใส่รถขึ้นมา คำแนะนำคืออย่าตกใจ ตั้งสติให้มั่น ซึ่งโดยทั่วไปกระแสไฟฟ้าจากฟ้าที่ผ่าใส่รถจะวิ่งไปตามโลหะตัวถังรอบ นอกรถแล้วลงสู่พื้นดินไป อย่าลงจากรถวิ่งหนีเมื่อฟ้าผ่ารถ อย่ารีบซิ่ง จะยิ่งเสี่ยงตาย !! ทั้งนี้ “ภัยฟ้าผ่า” คุกคามคนไทยรุนแรงมากขึ้นเรื่อย ๆ อย่างในปี 2551 นี้ยังไม่ทันเข้าสู่ฤดูฝนปกติ ก็มีข่าวคนถูกฟ้าผ่าเสียชีวิตไปหลายศพแล้ว เช่น 3 ศพที่เป็นหญิง ที่ถูกฟ้าผ่าเสียชีวิตพร้อมกัน-ที่เดียวกัน เมื่อ 15 เม.ย. ที่ ต.บ้านเม็ง อ.หนองเรือ จ.ขอนแก่น, วันที่ 27 เม.ย. เด็กชายวัย 12 ขวบรายหนึ่งถูกฟ้าผ่าเสียชีวิตใกล้รถมอเตอร์ไซค์ที่ อ.บางละมุง จ.ชลบุรี นี่ยังไม่รวมสัตว์เลี้ยง เช่น วัว ที่ปีนี้ก็ถูกฟ้าผ่าตายไปแล้วหลายสิบตัว รศ.ดร.เสรี ศุภราทิตย์ ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์วิจัยภัยธรรมชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยรังสิต ระบุว่า ...ข้อสังเกตที่กำลังเป็นที่สนใจ ที่ว่าทำไม “ฟ้าผ่าคนตาย” ถึงเกิดขึ้นบ่อยในปัจจุบันนั้น อาจจะมีสาเหตุมาจากปัจจัยกระตุ้นหลาย ๆ สิ่ง อาทิ ภาวะโลกร้อน, การเปลี่ยนแปลงการใช้ที่ดินมากขึ้น รวมถึง พฤติกรรมมนุษย์ที่เสี่ยง ต่อการถูกฟ้าผ่ามากขึ้น เช่น ใช้โทรศัพท์มือถือขณะฝนฟ้าคะนอง ใส่เครื่องประดับที่มีโลหะนำกระแสไฟฟ้า เป็นต้น สำหรับกรณีเมืองใหญ่ เช่น กรุงเทพฯ ที่ก็เกิดฟ้าผ่าบ่อยขึ้น อาจเกิดจากความเปลี่ยนแปลงเรื่องการใช้ที่ดินในปัจจุบันเป็นหลัก พื้นที่ที่เป็นต้นไม้น้อยลง ทำให้ขาดตัวดูดซับก๊าซคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์และฝุ่นละอองที่เกิดขึ้นจากปริมาณรถยนต์บนท้องถนน จนมีผลทำให้อุณหภูมิพื้นผิวสูงขึ้น จนทำให้เกิดการจับกลุ่มรวมตัวของเมฆฝนมากขึ้น ซึ่งเมื่อมีฝนฟ้าคะนองโดยอุณหภูมิไม่สมดุลเพิ่มขึ้น โอกาสเกิดฟ้าผ่าก็มีบ่อยขึ้น “วัสดุคอนกรีตที่ใช้ในการก่อสร้าง และป้ายโฆษณาที่มีอยู่มากมาย ซึ่งมีส่วนประกอบหลักจากโลหะและคอนกรีต ก็เป็นวัสดุที่เป็นตัวนำประจุไฟฟ้าหรือล่อฟ้าผ่าได้เช่นเดียวกัน ซึ่งเมื่อเกิดฝนฟ้าคะนองก็มีความเสี่ยงสูงที่จะเกิดฟ้าผ่า ใครไปยืนอยู่ใกล้ ๆ ก็มีความเสี่ยงสูงที่จะเกิดอันตราย” ...รศ.ดร. เสรี ระบุ พร้อมทั้งเตือนด้วยว่า... “ฟ้าผ่า” นั้นไม่สามารถพยากรณ์ได้ว่าจะเกิดขึ้นที่ไหน ตรงจุดใด ดังนั้น วิธีที่ดีที่สุดคือหลีกเลี่ยงการอยู่ใกล้สิ่งที่มีความเสี่ยงและการมีพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงที่จะเกิด-จะถูกฟ้าผ่า “สาบานให้ฟ้าผ่าตาย” คนชอบสาบานติดปากกันมานาน ยุคปัจจุบัน...ถึงไม่สาบาน-ไม่โกหก...ก็เสี่ยงไหม้เกรียม... เพราะ “ฟ้าผ่า” เปรี้ยงปร้างบ่อยขึ้น-ง่ายขึ้น !?!?!.

Nicolas Léonard Sadi Carnot (né le 1er juin 1796 et mort le 24 août 1832), usuellement appelé Sadi Carnot, était un physicien et ingénieur français.
À l’instar de Copernic, il ne publia qu’un seul livre, les Réflexions sur la puissance motrice du feu et sur les machines propres à développer cette puissance (Paris, 1824), dans lequel il exprima, à l’âge de 27 ans, ce qui s’avéra être le travail de sa vie.

Il formula l’exposé raisonné du moteur thermique et les principes de bases selon lesquels toute centrale énergétique, toute automobile, tout moteur à réaction est aujourd’hui conçu.
Plus remarquable, cette genèse se fit alors même qu’aucun prédécesseur n’eût encore défini la nature et l’étendue du sujet. Cairo is the largest town in Africa and the capital of Egypt. The town of Cairo is located on the east bank of the Nile River near the head of the many-channeled delta. There was no town on the spot in the times of the pharaohs or in later Greek or Roman days. It came into existence in the 7th century, after the Byzantine power in Egypt had crumbled before the Muslim armies advancing from Arabia. He therefore asked Amru to establish a new town east of the Nile River. Amru selected a site on the right bank of the Nile above the delta. In the centuries that followed, the Muslims warred among themselves with the result that the settlement was destroyed and rebuilt several times. The town of Cairo was founded in 968 by the Fatimids near the earlier site. Cairo was called El Qahira (The Victorious), a name that was subsequently altered to Cairo. In the 12th century the great Muslim ruler Saladin built a citadel at Cairo and began to wall in the quarters of the several different peoples who had settled there. The town of Cairo prospered and grew. However in the later Middle Ages it became the center of trade between Europe and the East and one of the chief seats of Muslim culture. By about 1340 nearly 500,000 people lived in an area 5 times greater than the original Fatimid walled town. The city of Cairo had become greater than any town in Africa, Europe, or Asia Minor. In 1517 it fell to the Turks, who reduced it to a provincial capital. In 1798 it was seized by Napoleon, but British and Turkish forces drove out the French 3 years later and the town was handed back to the Turks. The British, however, retained special interests in Cairo. A modern European town grew up in the 19th century between the Oriental quarters and the river. The later history of Cairo is merged with that of Egypt. Cairo spreads eastward from the Nile to the low Mokattam hills, which separate it from the brown wastes of the desert. The citadel of Saladin still stands on a spur of these hills in the southeastern corner of the town. From this height one can look across the island-studded Nile to the Great Pyramids of Giza. Above the flat-roofed houses of Cairo rise the domes and minarets of hundreds of mosques. From the minarets the muezzins call the faithful to prayer 5 times a day. Several minarets are wired for sound.
